After little more than a few days rest, we met up with our friend Omega for another epic battle. No really. It was epic. We had a total of 10 people going into the battle; 1 PLD, 3 RDM, 1 WHM, 1 RNG, 1 SAM, 2 BLM & 1 THF with a Bard being dual boxed. Yarko and Akiyama were our tanks for today. That’s all fine and dandy you might say, until one of the tanks disconnects and the second one dies. At this point, the fight becomes epic. Macros hit up the ole flee and started sprinting like a headless chicken flailing it’s wings about. Moments later, Yarko reappears, regains control of Omega – and off we go to a clean win.

Congratulations to Fuuun on Omega’s heart, Akiyama on Omega’s tail, Kapao on Omega’s eye.

Today seen DryRoot’s first event come together. What an event it was. Omega didn’t stand a fighting chance against the might of our collective. Func’s little taru heart was pounding as he smacked Omega about with his Great Katana, well, until Omega decided to one-shot him.

Soon after Func’s demise, we decided enough was enough – Kamery got the killshot with a smoking Burst II and our friend Omega left us his Forearm for Akiyama and Tail for Kapao.

As this was our first ‘official’ event, everyone was so excited – no screen shots were taken. Maybe next time D:
