A highly entertaining and interesting Sandworm this afternoon. I decided I would try my hand at Guivre tanking; and had one of our regular tanks come WHM for a change. Big mistake. A raged Guivre is no fucking easy prey and killed me 4 times! I think I’ll stick to honing my skills on easier prey like Dark Ixion and Cerberus. 27 days of tanking and counting, I aint quit yet; lol.

Also this week, Vyolina won a black tathlum, killed several Ixions, Cerberus, some other tidbids. Will post about them in the new year when events start again.

Chiefbootron (whut?) free-lotted the Bahamut’s Staff, while Keryu won the Bahamut’s Mask. Sha’ir Manteel for Mikeh.

We’ve had a good few days; but not had time to update the front page as I’ve been working on our new website. We have a brandspanking new design thanks to one of our old members Akiyama; now to put the programming in place to make it come to life. Watch this space early January.

Now onto the events. Dark Ixion was interesting. I thought I would give it a go today on RDM.  The attack speed appeared to change almost on the fly; there was no consistency. It made for a fun fight. Decent drops

We also did a couple of Tinnin’s to finish off our remaining sets, though one of the trigger holders, Koloth, couldn’t make it. He’s not well at the moment – Get well soon Kolo!

A fun Khimaira this afternoon; nothing but mats though as usual.

According to BlueGartr, Enmity is fucked to some degree, especially the decay of cumulative when taking damage or losing shadows. We experienced this last night when 3-4 BLM would get drawn in at a time, as if tanks had just died (and they weren’t even nuking!); Time to use SMN until SE fix this.
